Escalating healthcare costs are a huge concern to both employers and employees. Employers are reacting by promoting preventative healthcare and allocating budgets for wellness programs in the workplace. Employees are reacting to the increasing portion of healthcare costs being shifted to them by taking a more proactive stance and becoming increasingly involved in their own preventative healthcare programs. These trends are driving new and innovative approaches to preventative healthcare and wellness; which in turn are dramatically shifting the traditional healthcare delivery system and model.
